Tuesday, November 22, 2011
Central America holds talks on a joint stance for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, known as COP-17, to be held in Durban, South Africa, beginning next week.
The Central American proposals are expected to include a recognition of the region’s extreme vulnerability to climate change and a consequent need for aid.
The region will call for an increase on existing funds, sources say.
