Central America lures Costa Rican firms

Almost 80 percent of Costa Rican investment in other countries is concentrated in Central America, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Some 105 companies have expanded to other regional countries by first consolidating their local presence and then carrying out market research.

Panama is the main destination, with 50 companies establishing operations there, followed by Nicaragua, with 48.
