Central America's exports drop 5 percent

Central America exported good worth $7.6 billion in the first quarter of the year, according to the Central American Integration System.
The figure is 5.5 percent lower than the $8.1 billion in the same period last year.
The drop came as a result of lower international prices for coffee, sugar, palm oil, bananas and gold, the region's main products.
