Central America’s Filcen international book fair finishes in El Salvador. Some 40,000 visitors recorded and 500 firms

The Central American international book fair, Filcen, has concluded in San Salvador. Colombia was the guest country.

Filcen 2011 began on August 26. It beat the attendance of last year’s fair, which attracted 36,000 visitors.

Some 500 publishing companies were represented from Latin America, Spain, the United States and Israel, with some 40,000 titles on offer.
