Central America’s Northern Triangle boosts trade with Colombia

Trade and investment has grown substantially between Central America’s Northern Triangle and Colombia since they reached a free trade accord. The triangle consists of Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras.\

Central American exports to Colombia rose from $46.4 million in 2008 to $75 million in 2009.\
\
Meanwhile, Colombia’s exports rose from $386 million to $559 million over the same period.\
