The three nations of Central America’s “Northern Triangle” -- El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras -- want to have a joint trade accord with Taiwan,
Each already has an accord of its own, but the idea for a broader arrangement followed a visit to the region by Tsai Ing-wen, the Taiwanese president.
