Central America shakes off the gloom

Central America’s economic growth will be more t,han 4 percent over the next two years, much better than the rest of Latin America, according to Jordi Prat, economist of the Inter-American Development Bank.

The big factors in favor for the region have been the fall in oil prices, and its close trade relations with the United States, Prat said.
