Central America to host more conventions and expos

Central America is becoming an increasingly popular host destination for major events as the region continues to improve its conference and meetings infrastructure.

Two new conference centers are currently under construction in Costa Rica and Panama, which are expected to be ready by next year.

The region will host several international events this year, including a medical travel business summit in Costa Rica, the Latin America Port Congress in Guatemala and the World Surfing Championships in Nicaragua.
