Central America to sign trade accord with South Korea in a fortnight

Central America and South Korea agreed on Monday that negotiations on a free trade accord between them will be concluded within a fortnight in Nicaragua.

The decision was taken at a meeting in Seoul. It followed talks that began in June of last year. South Korean exports to the region run at $1.4 billion a year.
