Central American bank provides lending of $46.7 million to Grupo Pellas for Guacalito de la Isla tourism project in Nicaragua

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration approved a $46.7 million loan to Grupo Pellas of Nicaragua to finance the first phase of its Guacalito de la Isla tourism project.\

The first phase, which will cost some $115 million, began las November. The project covers 650 hectares of beach property in southern Nicaragua.\
\
The bank’s representative described Guacalito de la Isla as one of the most important tourism projects in Central America.\
