Central American business chiefs urge Europe to suspend aid in leadership dispute

Central American business leaders requested the European Union to suspend finance for aid projects in the region.
The leaders are protesting over the replacement of the director of the Central American Secretariat for Economic Integration.
The federation of private-sector organizations of the Caribbean and Central America pointed out that neither Panama nor Costa Rica recognizes the new leadership of the secretariat.
