The Siepac Central American electricity network, a power line of 1,800 kilometers, is 95 percent complete and will come on stream in March, said the company that is running it.

Parts of the network are already in operation but it will be fully completed by March, said the company chief Teófilo De La Torre.

De La Torre, who is also the head of Costa Rica’s power company, the ICE, said that officials of the network have been holding a three-day meeting this week.
