Central American exports grow 9 percent

Central American exports grew 9 percent during the first two months of the year, according to data from the Central American Economic Integration System.
The region's exports totaled $4.83 billion, some $45 million more than the same period last year.
The United States continued to be the region's main trading partner, with $1.57 billion of the total.
