Central American exports head for 10 percent growth

Exports from Central America are set to grow by 10.5 percent by the end of this year, according to the Central American Secretariat for Economic Integration.

Taken together, the exports of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica  are expected to amount to $22.2 billion over the year.

The statistics exclude exports from free-zone areas.
