Cervecería Centro Americana brewery launches new premium beer in Guatemala

Guatemalan brewery Cervecería Centro Americana presented its new premium beer Cabro Reserva.

The brewery is aiming to sell 150,000 crates of its new beer this year. Last year, 156 million liters of beer were sold in Guatemala, a 6.4 percent increase compared with 2010.

Beer sales in 2011 reached $3.79 million. Cervecería Centro Americana has an 89 percent market share.
