Cerveceria Centro Americana sees strong growth

Cervecería Centro Americana, the region's largest brewery, said it expects to end the year with up to 17 percent growth in production volume compared with 2013.

The company is also aiming for an 8 percent growth in its net profits.

Spokesman Rodrigo Gavarrete said the firm has maintained itself as Guatemala's leader in the low-cost beer market, despite stronger competition.
