CFE plans projects worth $4.8 billion

Mexican utility Comisión Federal de Electricidad, CFE, announced its plans for the tender of 16 projects worth $4.8 billion.

The projects include gas pipelines, thermoelectric plants and the refurbishment of a hydroelectric plant, among others.

In total, the projects will add some 2,538 Megawatts to the country's electricity network.
