Chávez re-election boosts Nicaragua oil dream

Nicaragua could become a major oil exporter by 2020, thanks to the recent reelection of Hugo Chávez as president of Venezuela.
Venezuela aims to invest some $6.6 billion for the construction of a refinery on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua.
Last April, it was announced that China's Camc Engineering would be responsible for the first stage of construction.
