Chevron seeks deals in Honduras

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Representatives from U.S. oil giant Chevron will visit Honduras this week to hold talks with the Government concerning oil exploration.

There are 38,000 square kilometers on the country's Atlantic coast available, said the country's College of Mechanical Engineers, Electricians and Chemists.

Chevron's interest is similar to that of UK firm BG, who was allocated 35,000 kilometers in Honduras's Caribbean sea, said the Minister for Environment and Natural Resources, Roberto Cardona.
