China agrees embassy site in Panama

Panama and the government in Beijing have agreed that the Chinese embassy will be in Clayton, an area that already is home to several diplomatic missions, including those of the US and and the Vatican.

This was confirmed by Nicole Wong, director of Foreign Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Monday. The two countries, he said, are in the final stages of negotiations concerning the location, Newsroom Panama reports.
