China boosts trade with Costa Rica after visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Costa Rica for two days, but left with a long list of agreements that will boost Costa Rican exports to China, Costa Rican newspaper La República reported.

Costa Rican dairy firm Dos Pinos will begin exporting its products to China shortly, through an accord with SDIC International, part of China's largest corporate holdings group.

The agreements also include funds for renewing the country's public transport system.
