China Railway mulls legal action against Mexico

China Railway Construction Corp., CRCC, is considering taking legal action after the Mexican government cancelled the contract it had won to build a high-speed train in Mexico.

CRCC said it is extremely shocked by Mexico's decision to cancel the contract for the $3.7 billion project that aims to connect Mexico City with the industrial city of Querétaro.

CRCC led a conglomerate, which was the sole bidder for the project, which comprised Mexican firms Prodemex, Constructora y Edificadora Gia, Constructora Teya and GHP Infraestrcutura Mexicana.
