China's GeSolar in venture to build Costa Rica plant

Representatives from the Costa Rican company GreenerSys signed an agreement with Chinese company GeSolar to build a solar power plant in Costa Rica.

The Costa Rica president, Laura Chinchilla, who is visiting China, signed the agreement as witness of honor and said she was pleased with the negotiations.

The president and her entourage also attended a forum on trade, investment and tourism in Costa Rica, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Costa Rican officials.
