China's ReneSola chooses Panama for regional base

China-based ReneSola has announced plans to open a branch office in Panama to oversee sales throughout South America and the Caribbean.

The new office in the city of Colon will distribute products such as PV modules, inverters and mounting systems throughout the region.

It will help the Zheijiang-based manufacturer capitalise on Latin America’s “immense growth potential,” ReneSola Panama general manager Rogelio Puerta said in a statement.
