China’s Sinohydro builds three power plants in Honduras

The government of Honduras signed an agreement with China’s Sinohydro for the construction of three hydroelectric plants in the patuca river, one of the largest in the country.
Sinohydro aims to raise funds from China’s Eximbank and other Chinese institutions, nut the amount of the investment has not been announced.
Work on the three plants is due next year. The total installation capacity of the plants will be 524 megawatts.
