China to open trade office in Central America as ties with Central America grow

The People's Republic of China will soon open a commercial office in the capital after the recent launch in Beijing of the Chinese-Salvadoran Chamber of Commerce.
President of the Chinese-Salvadoran Friendship Association Manuel Flores told a local radio station that the new unit will join the Chinese office set up in Panama and the Dominican Republic, countries which Chine does not maintain diplomatic relations.
Flores said to have the support of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
