Choice Air leaves passengers in lurch for Honduras-New Orleans

An airline that suddenly canceled its flights to and from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport has left customers stranded here and abroad, according to a report.

Choice Aire, which offers nonstop service to Honduras, began canceling flights in February.

Leslie Andrade, originally from Honduras, told WWL radio that she booked a flight for her father, Lorenzo, to visit her in New Orleans. Once he arrived, Choice Aire canceled his return flight without warning, she said.
