Cisco considers investing in Costa Rica

U.S. technology firm Cisco is considering an investment in Costa Rica, said the company's CEO for the region, Jordi Botafoll, in an interview with Costa Rican daily La República.

The plan is to make an investment of similar proportions the company made last month on an innovation center in Brazil.

"Costa Rica is an important hub for the region, and I've even met with President Laura Chinchilla for talks concerning the next steps to take," he said.
