Citigroup expands presence in Costa Rica

New York-based Citigroup opened a $35 million service center in Costa Rica.

The new offices are expected to generate some 500 jobs over the next two years, the company said.

Through the new offices, in the province of Heredia, the company aims to strengthen its shared services operations.
