Claro El Salvador throws out roaming charges

Cellphone company Claro in El Salvador is abolishing roaming and other long-distance charges throughout Central America for pre-paid customers.
Claro is a unit of América Móvil, the Mexican telecom owned by Carlos Slim. América Móvil’s unit, Telcel, earlier abolished roaming throughout Mexico.
