Claro sees strong growth in Honduras

Telecoms firm Claro, a subsidiary of Mexico's America Movil, is expecting strong growth in Honduras as the country implements mobile number portability this week.

The company has prepared for the change by investing heavily, particularly in its networks.

Another aspect that favors the company is that it was the first to implement GSM and third generation technology, 3G, in Honduras.
