Claro upgrades Guatemala service to 4G

Claro announced that it has upgraded its mobile network in Guatemala to fourth generation, or 4G.

Claro is the brand of Mexico's América Móvil. Its customers will be able to download at up to five megabytes a second provided their hardware is capable.

The current 3G service offers download speeds of up to 1.5 megabytes per second.
