Clinton hails Denimatrix, Guatemala unit of Plains Cotton Cooperative Association

The US secretary of state, Hillary Rodham Clinton presented the Award for Corporate Excellence to a subsidiary of Plains Cotton Cooperative Association.

"Our winner in the small-to-medium size enterprise category is Denimatrix – Denimatrix of Lubbock, Texas, and for its work in Guatemala," Clinton said.

The association is comprised of farmers in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.  In 2009 it started Denimatrix with a facility in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
