Coffee-drinking percolates throughout the world

Coffee-producing countries need not worry about demand for their product. Coffee-drinking is growing in countries that import it, but also among those that produce the crop.

World consumption is forecast by the International Coffee Organization to grow from 134.8 million bags this year to 159.7 million in 2019. Specialists from the London-based organization explain that world consumption has been growing by 2.5 percent on average each year since 2000.
