Coffee-shop war is brewing in Costa Rica as Café Barista plans to arrive

A coffee house war is brewing in Costa Rica, with the announcement that the Guatemalan coffee house chain, Café Barista, is coming.

The Costa Rican market is currently dominated by Spoon and Giacomín.

Barista's president, Walter de la Cruz, said that the company will first develop El Salvador then Costa Rica and Panama.
