Colombia becomes Latin America's third economy

Colombian officials said the country's economy grew 4.3 percent last year, a rate which authorities and analysts say place the Andean nation as Latin America's third economy.

The growth rate beat analysts expectations of a drop at the start of 2013.

Colombia overtook Argentina, and is now behind Brazil and Mexico.
