Colombia fails to reach growth targets

Tuesday, June 18, 2013

Colombia’s economy is most likely to grow 4 percent and not reach the 4.5 percent growth in gross domestic product as projected by the government, according to analysts.

The government was forced last week to lower its expectations of 4.8 percent growth due to a disappointing first quarter.

According analysts, this year’s growth is most likely to be the same as last year.
