Colombia falls behind in foreign trade

Colombia's exports as a percentage of its gross domestic product reached 17 percent, placing the South American country at number 135 of 144 nations analyzed by the World Economic Forum.

With those numbers, Colombia is above eonly Brazil and Haiti in Latin American, and is at the same level as Egypt and Rwanda at a global level.

Colombia's imports represent 18.4 percent of its gross domestic products, placing at number 139.
