Colombia inflation slows in March

Colombian consumer prices rose at a slower pace in March than in February but slightly higher than economists were expecting as food and communications prices increased, the government said.

The March consumer price index rose 0.39 percent from the previous month, government statistics agency DANE said in a report.

Economists on average expected a 0.31 percent increase.
