Colombia plans to boost trade with Singapore

The leaders of Singapore and Colombia have reaffirmed relations between their countries and discussed ways to raise awareness of opportunities to enhance mutually-beneficial bilateral cooperation.

From 2010 to 2011, trade between Colombia and Singapore more than doubled, growing by 128 percent.

The president of Singapore said Colombia is a rising star in Latin America, with new-found stability and steady growth.
