Colombia raises $1.4 billion to reopen debt issue

The Colombian government sold $1.4 billion in debt in the reopening of a 2027 bond emission with a 3.875 percent coupon. Demand for the securities was equivalent to $5.6 billion, and the yield was fixed at 3.816 percent.

"The country obtained funding resources for 2017 and 2018 through the reopening of the global bond," said Colombia's minister of Finance Mauricio Cardenas.
