Colombia ready to sign accords with Israel and Panama

The Colombian government said it is ready to sign free trade accords with Israel and Panama next week.

The accord with Israel was successfully agreed upon after 15 months of talks, and is the first trade accord Colombia signs with a Middle Eastern country.

For Panama, a free trade accord with Colombia means moving a step further in becoming a member of the Pacific Alliance trade bloc, whose members are Mexico, Chile, Peru and Colombia.
