Colombia's Emgesa begins reservoir at hydro project

Colombian power producer Emgesa has begun the reservoir-filling process at El Quimbo, which will be South America's second-largest hydroelectric dam when it begins operating in the southwestern province of Huila, the company said.

"A major reservoir-filling operation was carried out,” Emgesa CEO chief executive Rubio said.
