Colombia's foreign debt grows 15 percent

Colombia's foreign debt grew 15.6 percent in the first half of the year, compared with the same period last year, according to official figures.

Colombia has been increasing its borrowing from international investors for over a decade, rising a full 145 percent since 2004.

Between 2008 and 2014, the country's debt increased at a 12 percent yearly average.
