Colombia's Quala plans Central America expansion

Quala, a Colombian massive consumption multinational, said it is seeking to expand into Central America.

The company, which produces and sells food, drink, personal care, candy and frozen products, has chosen El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala as its starting points to enter the region.

Quala estimates that once it has established presence in those three countries, their combined sales will be similar to those of Ecuador.
