Colombia to boost small enterprises

Colombian export and investment promotion agency ProColombia has launched a program called Mipyme International.

The aim of the program is to boost by 1,000 the number of small and medium enterprises in the services, tourism and export sectors by 2018.

Of the 6,682 companies that export in Colombia, 5,300 are in the small enterprise category, according to ProColombia president María Claudia Lacouture.
