Colombia to cut 2015 growth forecast

Monday, December 8, 2014

Colombia's government will cut its economic growth forecast for 2015 due to the effect of falling oil prices, said Finance Minister Mauricio Cárdenas.

The government had forecasted a gross domestic product growth of 4.8 percent for 2015, higher than this year's 4.7 percent.

"We will surely lower the 4.8 percent forecast because the outlook for oil prices is lower," Cárdenas said.
