Colombia to place Panama on tax 'gray list'

The Colombian government said it would put Panama on a 'gray list' for its refusal to sign a tax information exchange agreement.

But Panamanian President Ricardo Martinelli said the move would affect Colombian companies operating in Panama.

Colombian banks in Panama account for 25 percent of the Central American nation's financial assets, Minister of Economy Frank de Lima said.
