Colombian central bank holds key interest rate

Colombia’s central bank held the benchmark interest rate steady at its meeting on Thursday as it continues to struggle with inflation and said it only had limited room to bolster weak economic growth through a looser monetary policy.

The bank’s seven policymakers voted unanimously to maintain the rate at 4.75 percent.
