Friday, March 1, 2019
Colombian coffee farmers are asking their colleagues in Central America to join their proposal to abandon the reference prices set by the New York market, and make one of their own.
The initiative points to measures to resolve the low prices set by world markets.
Roberto Vélez, head of the Colombian coffee growers, explained that the idea is to join forces among producers of high quality arabica growers such as those of Central America and African countries Kenya and Tanzanía.
